We are writing about the Sumerian's daily life and how there cities are. We will tell you how there cities are set up. How they survive every day problems and issues. And how they dealt with war and other things like that. these are most of the things you will be learning about.In there cities were Ziggarat and those are big temple's in the middle of the cities. At the top of the Ziggarats lived the gods and goddesses
The rich lived in large homes as the poor people lived in smaller homes but nobody lived in huts
Some of the larger homes were wide and tall
Rich and poor people live in the same area
The homes shared walls like to day
Building materials were limited
Doors led to family courtyards
It was very important to have a family courtyard
There were stairs leading from the courtyard to the second and third floor
There roofs were flat for more living space
As the city grew, there house got bigger but every body still had there own home [1]
